Prego Goes To School
Introducing Prego and its friendly mascot, Pipo the squirrel, to local school children
The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali has launched a brand new initiative to heighten awareness about Prego, its family-friendly Italian restaurant, within the local community. This fun concept involves visiting local schools and introducing its mascot, Pipo the squirrel, to the children of Bali. Essentially, “Prego Goes to School” is a meet and greet session at this stage but eventually it will be used as a platform to promote hygiene and healthy eating habits to youngsters.
The first visit took place at Bintang Mandiri School located in Jimbaran, which is just 15 minutes from the resort. Approximately 160 children from grades 1 through until 5 were excited to meet Pipo and hear about all of the activities that take place every Sunday during the Prego Family Brunch. The session also included lively games as well as a quiz with prizes for the best answers. Tasty snacks, prepared especially by Prego’s Italian Chef, were handed out and the visit concluded with a group photo.
Prego Family Brunch puts the excitement back into weekend dining at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali. It promises a great day out for the entire family with entertainment and the island’s biggest buffet of authentic Italian cuisine. Every month there is a different educational theme with supervised activities such as cooking or learning about the environment to engage little ones while parents enjoy their meal.
