The AC Milan Glorie’s Captain Franco Baressi with Commercial Director Mauro Tavula said that they and the team were thrilled to finally arrive in Indonesia for the short vacation in Bali before heading to Jakarta on Saturday September 3rd to conduct the 2nd leg of the “Asia Disaster Relief Tour – 2011” on September 4th.
"The AC Milan team visit in Bali prior to Jakarta is to allow the team to relax after the 1st Match on the tour in Japan," said Alan Solow, CEO of PT. Asia Sport Development (ASD). Alan Solo further added that “with the football season getting underway in Italy, after finishing the game on September 4, the entire party will immediately return to Milan.
The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali is the official hotel chosen by the ASD for AC Milan Glories in Bali for the short 3 days vacation in Bali.
In the press conference, Mr. Bipan Kapur shared to the media that The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali is very proud to host the Glorie AC Milan team during their historic visit to Bali. He believe Westin signature program and facilities such as the legendary Heavenly Bed will ensure the team to revive, renew and feel at their best before AC Milan Glories continue their journey to Jakarta for the match.
AC Milan Glorie Vs Indonesian All Star Legends is a program which is being held as an initiative of PT. ASD, were AC Milan's greatest heroes including; Alessandro Costacurta, Nelson de Jesus Silva (Dida), Daniele Massaro, Gianluigi Lentini, Jean Pierre Papin, Franco Baresi, Daniele Massaro and Serginho plus a host of other legendary stars for charity match with the Indonesian All Star Legends team led by Coach Benny Dolo and including; Ponaryo Astaman, Bima Sakti, Kurniawan, Charis Yulianto, Widodo CS, Robby Darwis, and Rochy Puttiray. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to the “Disaster Relief” Foundation of Nadhlatul Ulama Indonesia.
