The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali Brings Its Best To Jakarta
Nusa Dua, Bali, 2nd December 2014… The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali hosted its annual Appreciation Gathering for Jakarta based business partners and media representatives on Friday, 28th November 2014. More than 250 invited guests were in attendance for this lively event staged in the ballroom of Le Meridien Jakarta Hotel. The gathering was essentially an opportunity for the Sales & Marketing team of The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali to reconnect with business partners and express appreciation for support shown over the past year.
Upon arrival, guests were warmly greeted with drinks, canapés and mood-enhancing music signature to the Westin brand. A fun photo booth was also set up enabling guests to take shots and upload them with hashtag #WestinBaliParty via Instagram and Facebook.
The ballroom’s doors open at 7.30 pm to get the evening off to a fine start with an uplifting performance by singing sensation Nowela from Indonesian Idol 2014 fame. This was followed by a brief video presentation showcasing the resort and its extensive business and leisure facilities. Managing Director of The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, Mr. Bipan Kapur, then took to the stage for a welcome speech where he formally introduced associates from the Sales and Marketing team.
A delicious buffet dinner followed accompanied by the soulful voice of Nowela. There were also lucky draws throughout the entire evening with generous prizes from affiliated Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Asia Pacific region. The Grand Prize was for a five-night stay in Bangkok, Thailand including roundtrip flights for two persons. The highlight of the event was a charity auction of a Heavenly Bed with all proceeds going to Dana Punia orphanage located in Singaraja, north of Bali, a non-profit foundation that cares for impoverished children. The fund raised will be used to help cover the education cost of these youngsters.
More music closed the evening along with a farewell gift of a freshly potted plant complete with a care card for every guest. The purpose of this unique gift was to symbolize the growing relationship between The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali and its partners.
